In November 2013, Royal Friesland Campina, Wageningen University and Research Center and China Agricultural University launched Sino-Dutch Dairy Development Center (SDDDC), with an aim to improve the production, safety and quality of dairy industry in China throughout the dairy chain. In October 2015, during their state visit to China, the Dutch King and Queen witnessed the ceremony for Chinese dairy companies to become new partners of SDDDC and expressed their appreciation for the efforts of SDDDC in promoting Sino-Dutch dairy exchange and cooperation.
